Smoke baffle / Deflection plate -series 4 to 8-

Vermiculite smoke baffle that insulates the combustion chamber and helps direct flue gases and heat to the rear and toward the chimney.
By directing the smoke and heat in a specific direction, the heat in the stove is used more effectively, creating a better, cleaner burn.

The smoke baffle plate is replaced if cracks larger than 5mm in diameter appear or the plate is worn to half its thickness.

For these models, the smoke guide plate depends on the year of manufacture.
